We are looking for a Computer Vision Engineer with experience in image and video applications, with an entrepreneurial spirit to join our team in Oxford and help us achieve our technology goals.
The work focuses on imaging, privacy, 2d and 3d representation of individuals. You will work on the acquisition, processing, and analysis of the data captured by my client. You will be dealing with machine learning for person detection, tracking, estimation of facial properties and actions, as well as machine learning for image and mesh based editing operations.

You will be working closely with our Computer Vision Engineers and VP of Software.
Your tasks:
Your responsibilities include:
- data curation, integration of large datasets, specification for annotators, statistical evaluation of annotation correctness, specification of acquisition rules for new data sets, trial runs on data subsets, performance
- Optimize models for running on CPU and GPU on embedded and non-embedded platforms.
- Apply mathematical to machine learning methods to improve performance of existing or novel methods
- Implement substantial portions of code in Python, and help software engineering in porting code to C / C++
- Experience with Open CV
- Generate and evaluate functional and design specifications
- Participate in defining product requirements
- Evaluate technical trade-offs
Esstential:
- Experience with deep learning frameworks such as Keras and Tensorflow
- Experience with deep learning and machine learning for image processing
- First class or 2(i) degree in Computer Science, Computer Vision or equivalent
- Python or C++
- Motivation to learn and improve processes and tools
Desirable:
- MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics or similar
- Experience with Git-flow or similar development process
- Experience with data curation, integration, versioning
- A track record of published projects or papers
- Familiar with AWS GPU training
- GPU and/or vectorization programming experience (AVX/SSE)
